How big do these little ones get to be?
We try our best to adhere to the Breed Standard. Most of our minis are 12-14 inches in height and can weigh between 12 - 17 pounds. Occasionally, one or two puppies will be smaller than the others in the litter. We do not intentionally breed toy size schnauzers, but occasionally we have some. This is an act of Mother Nature and not because we are intentionally trying to breed the smaller sizes. There is no such thing as a Toy Schnauzer breed, however, and these tiny babies will still be registered as Miniature Schnauzers.
Coat types and length?
Miniature Schnauzers come in two coats; SMOOTH; which should be short, soft and smooth. WIRY; always more coarse & a bit longer. All of our puppies have the smooth silky coats. If you want a wiry coat you should strip your schnauzer instead of clipper.
What vaccines have your puppies received before they are shipped?
We worm pups at 2 and 4 weeks of age. At 6 weeks, they get their first puppy vaccines as well as Interceptor before they go to their new homes. The first two wormings are with Strongid, then at 6 weeks they are given revlution and should be given revloution monthly thereafter.
If you do your research and get a healthy, genetically sound pup to begin with, you should not have to worry about excessive, expensive veterinary care throughout your pets life.
