We enjoy receiving letters from all of our puppy families. We appreciate
you for giving our babies wonderful homes!
Needless to say, we have fallen in love with our little Maggie. Just a little over 4 months old, and
we can't imagine life without her. Don't get me wrong, we have all learned a lot. From potty
training issues to the wildness and running from us when called. But at night when we all cuddle up
and wind down, we are all in harmony! Thanks for her. She has really been a great addition to our
family.

Tex isn't shy anymore since becoming a "Miller Boy."  Little Joe seems to be getting a little better
initiative to go outside all by himself when he needs to go.  He still can’t get down the two porch
steps, so you have to help him.  He can go up them really fast, but not down.
We went to the vet yesterday.  He weighs 3.1 lbs.  The vet gave him his second set of vaccinations.

I’ll send more pictures soon.

Dear Irene

Thank you for the New Year's greeting and hope you also have a Happy New Year. I want you to
know what a blessing and joy that Lexi has been to us. She was born on April 28, which is my
Mother's birthday. Mom was very sick when we got Lexi. We had to put her in a Skilled Nursing
Facility the month before. On our way home from picking up Lexi, we took her to see Mother. I
placed Lexi on her bed and told her Lexi was born on her Birthday and she was so excited. I took
her to see Mother several other times and Lexi was always so quiet and gentle with her...I think
she knew how ill Mother was. Mother died on August 10, and Lexi has been a comforting joy to us.
We took her to 8 weeks of puppy school and she was very intimidated and shy at first because all of
the other puppies were very large, 2 labs, an Irish Wolfhound and 2 large mixed breeds. However,
she adapted and won "best" puppy award. She is so fast and unafraid, the instructor suggested we
put her in "agility" training. We will make that decision in the Spring. She is totally different from
our last Schnauzer because she is so into jumping and running., and our other one was very quiet
and docile. Lexi has not had any health problems and never met a stranger. She has a beautiful
coat...everyone admires it. We cannot thank you enough for giving us such a beautiful, special
companion. She does look so much like Gretchen. I wish you and your family a wonderful New Year.

I have attached a pic of our "Little Bit."! That is Monet's nickname. She is definitely a big dog in a
little dog body.  She and her Giant Schnauzer sister, Molly, get along wonderfully. They both love
to play fetch and Monet will spend hours on our back deck watching the squirrels cavort through
the trees.  As you can see, she also loves to sleep curled up next to her big sister.  Both Bill and I
are so happy we met you and adopted one of your babies.  Thanks. Debi, Bill, Molly and Monet
